Fleischer'S Hotel - Voss

Magical hotel in an awesome location in a top London restaurant serving nouveau cuisine, the services were nice. Location: the property was adjacent to the Vangnes ferry. Visited Tre Bror Kafe og Bar for a few drinks, it was at a medium distance from the hotel, recommend.

The breakfast was well organised and hot, the check in was smooth.

The units are modern in tables of 10-12-. The location is good and gorgeous, and here's the cherry on top - next to a train station. There is a very nice a la carte restaurant with an a la carte menu for individual dining...

The twin room is compact and neat. The hotel offers warm and large meal in the morning with cheeses, dishes from tables and meat.

canteen type dining facilities were ok for breakfast and if you are travelling in a large group but disappointing when choosing from the a la carte menu in the evening

I love the hotel. I stayed there when skiing in 1976. Yes the hotel has changed, but it retains the same charm as ever.

The shower head in room 239 was broken. Although water came through it, the fixing mechanism had collapsed. Also, I suggest that someone checks that the drain from the bath is properly functional. At dinner on the terrace, the salad bowls were not replenished as they should have been. The reason I was given was that a large party had arrived, which I presume you would find as unacceptable as I did. I recognise the economic necessity of accepting bus parties, but guests paying regular rates should not suffer or be inconvenienced by them.

Fine lake views from rooms.

The room was cramped. The bathroom was even smaller. We were supposed to have a queen bed, but instead, it was just two single beds shoved together. The steak we ordered for dinner tasted like nothing. It was over-marinated and unappetizing, leaving a bad taste in my mouth throughout the meal.

Ambience of the hotel, good to have an individual hotel rather than mass produced.Excellent swimming pool. Easy access to walking trails. Excellent dinner buffet, though a bit expensive. Staff very helpful.

Proximity to road and railway caused marginal disturbance, but outweighed by other factors.

We enjoyed the spacious Twin Room and loved the fantastic breakfasts with a variety of options. The indoor swimming pool and sun terrace were perfect. It would have been nice to have a smaller dinner option available, but overall, we had a good stay and would recommend checking it out 😊

Room too small with a cramped bathroom. Great views of the lake and mountains. Close to train station makes it easy for travelers. Best for outdoor activities like cycling and walking tours. Dining was decent but could use more variety.

The historic architecture and fine lake views were amazing. Dining options showcased delicious homemade products. Noise from the nearby train station proved disruptive, with loudspeakers echoing into the room, quite small. While the staff were cute, the overall experience was marred by limited space and loud disturbances.
